About the event
Welcome to Recycle Cinema, the start of a new way of using film to connect, protect and project the environment around us. Across four days, we will examine the different elements of the environment - green spaces, housing and water - through archive film and conversations.
For our Launch Event, we host a day long screening/workshop at VideOdyssey in Toxteth. Tickets: £3 / £5 - Pay what you can. Free tickets for under 30 year olds, contact monika@cinemanation.co.uk

Why make new films, when old films are boss?! A day event looking at how we can use archive (old) films for new purposes, how recycling cinema links to saving the environment, and how to get campaigns seen.
Includes:
- Tape Bake - bring your family’s home movies on VHS to get them digitised for free (from 29 - 30 November, 11am - 5pm)
- How to Save: a panel of different people using different methods (celluloid, VHS, social media) of categorising and preserving stories, including North West Film Archive and Arrival City.
- How to Share: an opportunity for social activists to present inspirational clips in tackling the environmental crisis and a workshop on how to amplify these
