TAG L8

Do you want to be involved in making a community video archive?

We are L8 residents and enthusiasts for film archives and local heritage, and we feel that there is no place where we can connect with others to share stories. Therefore we’ve come up with an idea for an online platform to be made by community members to upload, comment, tag and preserve our own archive footage.

If you are interested, join us online across 4 weeks, every Tuesday night (8, 15, 22 March) to collaborate together in building our own community video archive.

The first session on 1 March, we will introduce ourselves and the project, and hear from North West Film Archive about how to build a collection. The future sessions will be guided by the group where you will have a say in the design, meeting different web programmers.

These sessions will be free, and we have a bit of money to support anyone access the online sessions. If you would like to participate or find out more,  please contact us at thespiritofliverpool@gmail.com

Meetings take place on Tuesdays on  8, 15 and 22 March, 6.30pm - 8pm on Zoom, an online video conferencing platform.

You can register for the sessions by clicking the link below.
